Raven
Raven is a F3 Pomsky, born and raised in the UK.
She is a black tri-colour Pomsky- mainly black and white with light tan on legs, cheeks and eyebrows.
She weighs around 9kg.

Temperament
Raven is the dominant female in the pack. She is very good at keeping the balance in the pack and the pack members have a lot of respect for her. Sometimes she takes cues from myself and will correct the others' behaviour (a good example is when their play starts to get a bit rough, she watches my facial expressions and acts accordingly). She is very in tune with human emotions and will provide comfort when her human family need it.
She is an amazing girl who is absolutely perfect as a family dog. She loves everyone in the family and she is fascinated with how my children play. The more I see Raven interacting with children, the more I am amazed.

She isn't just tolerant of children but she has a deeper understanding around them. We had young children visit the home and the youngest boy got really upset and cried loudly. The pack haven't experienced this before and I saw 2 pack members startle but Raven gave them a quick look- they quickly relaxed and laid back down. Raven then proceeded to approach the boy gently, put her paws gently on his shoulders and licked him to comfort him. This wasn't just tasting salty tears, this is her way of offering comfort. I have seen her stay close to others children as a way to protect them. She has passed this natural ability to her puppies and the stories I hear fill me with pride and happy tears.

Raven loves playing with water, enjoys trips to the beach as well as playing with the water in ponds and lakes at enclosed fields. She has also passed on her love of water including muddy puddles to her puppies.

I am very proud of her in so many ways and she has the traits that I want in future Pomsky puppies.

She has blessed us with 3 incredible litters with a total of 21 puppies. 2 of those live with us because we simply could not part with them.
She will have 1 more litter before she retires.

Willow- F3 Pomsky imageWillow- F3 Pomsky imageWillow- F3 Pomsky image
Willow is a F3 Pomsky, born and raised in the UK with her parents having been imported from good quality US bloodlines.

Temperament
Willow is a very loving girl who enjoys being a lapdog, laying on my feet and being as close as possible. She is very friendly and is such a joy to have. We often see how human friendly she is. She will happily sit on a random child's knee if she is unsure of new surroundings. She wouldn't hesitate to go up to a stranger and ask for cuddles. She does have some funny quirks and I just love her temperament. She is content and will happily settle on her own when we leave the house. I truly value her and puppies who inherit her traits will be incredible.

I feel guilty saying it as I love every single pack member, but Willow is my favourite girl. I value her calmness, her quiet nature, the way she will relax by my side when the others are playing rough and the way she sits by me and puts one paw on my hand.. she is beautiful inside and out. When I am unwell, I know that she will stay very close, rest her head on me and I see her checking my face now and again. I reassure her that I am fine and I thank her (I never want to worry them). I also love the way she is with my boys. I will come into the room and find relaxing my their side on the sofa. She is so gentle with them and highly tolerant. She takes everything in her stride and just accepts it. As Drake has many valuable similar traits, I am extremely excited for their puppies.. not because of their colours but their temperaments. If I can provide people with a Pomsky just like Willow or Drake then I know people will treasure them and never want to let them go.

Willow has a super soft and silky plush coat. Thankfully she is also non-vocal and likes to make a lot of eye contact. I can always tell when she wants something by the way she stares at me.
I do feel like she knows how to make us laugh. 1 of the things that I love about her is how she will bring her favourite toy to play tug of war but she is adamant we put it in our mouths rather than our hands... she is awesome!
One of Willow's quirks is to ask for something by standing on her back legs and moving her front paws together (think of the actions for wheels on the bus). At least 3 of her puppies in her first litter inherited this quirk and their owners love it.

Alaska- F3 Pomsky imageAlaska- F3 Pomsky imageAlaska- F3 Pomsky image
Alaska is our keeper puppy from Raven and Drake's first litter.
She is a F3 Pomsky born in our living room and raised under my early socialisation programme.

Temperament
I am very happy with her temperament. I can see more of Drake's calm traits in her and she has inherited Raven's love for muddy puddles.
She is resilient and adaptable to new situations, is great with other dogs and people of all ages.
She is calm natured and enjoys relaxing on the sofa and then the middle of the floor when she gets too hot.
She enjoys attention from humans and loves being around children. Her favourite human is my middle son. Though pregnancy made her clingy to me and has been closer since.
She is very affectionate and will cuddle us by putting her head in our necks for a few moments before settling down.

After observing Alaska through her pregnancy, labour and with her puppies, I feel her incredible behaviour needs to be mentioned. Alaska's resilience has been evident throughout her journey into motherhood. From cytology, bloods testing for PG levels, AI, through her pregnancy and labour- she took everything in her stride and made it look easy. I could not be more impressed with her and I praised her at every stage. Her labour was so smooth (despite her babies being on the larger size) and watching her care for her daughters was one of the most wonderful sights. In future litters, I feel like I can relax as I know she can handle her pregnancy, labour and care for puppies very well.

Alaska is the best puppy socialiser and cannot believe how lucky I am to have her. She plays extremely well with all of our puppies and teaches them important canine social skills. She will gently break up little fights between the puppies, offer play when they try and pull her fur and she even cries to get to them when they play outside. I have worked on her waiitng patiently to play with them and she has been brilliant.

Unfortunately Embark have recently reassigned certain DNA traits from Husky to Alaskan Malamute. Alaska's parents are most definitely Raven and Drake and there is definitely no malamute in them, their parents, grandparents etc.

Astra- Husky cross imageAstra- Husky cross imageAstra- Husky cross image
Astra was meant to be our husky female that I could start my own lines with. Embark has revealed she has other dog breeds in her genetics and so my plans have changed.

Temperament
Astra has an incredible temperament- very calm, chilled out and a cuddlebug who loves everyone, humans and dogs. She is very calm in busy situations. Out of the pack, she is definitely the calmest and quietest (which is saying something because Drake is calm and quiet).
From families that have visited to view our puppies, every family has commented how Astra is their favourite. She loves new people, knows how to give those puppy eyes and knows to be calm around young children.
She loves to play fetch with a ball, is content when left alone, loves training sessions and has lower energy levels compared to what people assume. Over the years, I have spoken to husky owners and Astra is completely different to what I expected. It is likely a combination of my experience and her temperament but I truly value Astra's nature.
The veterinary staff who cared for Astra during her visit for hip and elbow scoring complimented Astra and how well she has been raised. They said they see this breed a lot but Astra stands out with how calm and easy going she was. They said we have clearly been raising and socialising her to high standards and to carry on what we are doing. That is a massive compliment for me but I honestly feel like this Astra's natural temperament.

Astra's maternal nature has been evident with every litter. She enjoys curling up with tiny pups, is very gentle (excellent when she is giant in comparison), will gently nudge puppies to break up fights and allows them to climb all over her. She knows her size and lays on her side or back to show she is non threatening and puppies naturally love her.

Sadly AI with Hendrix in 2024 wasn't successful. I was devastated and I have tried to tell myself that it wasn't meant to be. To test her fertility, I will pair her with Drake in 2025.  If that isn't successful, then I will likely try TCI using Hendrix. Astra is definitely worth the extra effort. Not only is her temperament worth passing on but she also has great health test results and I do not want to waste those beautiful hips scores (2:2).

I cannot begin to say how excited I am for Astra babies. Her temperament is truly invaluable and it is exactly what I want in future puppies. I am looking forward to hearing from her puppy owners already.

Astra is not full husky (I bought her believing she was). Embark has revealed she is 70.7% husky. Then we have Akita, GSD and malamute. Due to this, Astra's puppies will be lower in price as they will be classed as a Husky cross. The percentage of the other breeds will be minimal due to how genes are inherited and genetic recombination.
I am very excited to meet her puppies and to get to know them. With Astra's conformation and temperament, I have very high hopes for some truly stunning small Husky crosses.
Eden- F3 Pomsky imageEden- F3 Pomsky imageEden- F3 Pomsky image
Eden is our keeper puppy from Raven and Drake's second litter together. I was not planning on keeping another Raven baby but as I watched Eden grow and respond beautifully to new situations, I knew I could not pass on her. She clearly looks like a miniature version of a husky.

Temperament
Although Eden is young, she is showing a wonderfully confident and affectionate nature. I can already see she has inherited her mums love of water as well as her jumping skills. I am not joking when I say she jumps like a grasshopper. So much so that the sofa has been blocked off to prevent her climbing on and then jumping off.. I need to protect those developing joints.

Health Tests
Eden will be BVA eye tested with gonioscopy and BVA hip and elbow scored when she is around 12 to 18 months old.
